Every year at the annual conference NASLR recognizes exceptional reclamation, reclamationists, students, and miners with several awards: Reclamation (Coal and Non-Coal categories), Outreach, and the Dean Spindler Reclamationist of the Year. Award winners a plaque presented to the winner at the awards banquet at the annual conference. Fees will be waived for the winner and one guest to attend the awards banquet.
The deadline for nomination applications is July 31st of each year.
Reclamation Award
The Mined Land Reclamation Award was established to recognize companies and individuals who achieve outstanding and exemplary achievements in the reclamation of mined land and promote the awareness and exchange of information for quality reclamation and environmental stewardship.
